Baobab Series
The baobab is impressive – embraced by legends, the enormous monkey-bread or upside-down tree stands in the heart of many African villages. Stories are told in its shadow, traditions are passed on. Baobab is also the name of a book series which publishes picture books, stories and novels in German from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East for children and young people. The series «Reihe Baobab» is edited by the Baobab Children’s Book Fund and published by NordSüd Verlag. Since 1989 approximately 50 books from more than 20 countries from all over the world have been published.You will find the titles of all books published in the series listed by authors or by age: picture books, children's books, books for young people.
