The Peters Projection World Map represents the countries and continents in proportion to their actual size. It is a departure from the Eurocentric world view and offers a new perspective on the division of the globe into north and south. It reflects our concern to recognize the equality of all human beings.

Submission of manuscripts
In the Baobab Series picture books and novels for children and young people are translated to German solely from African, Asian, Latin American and the Middle Eastern authors and illustrators. Our programme is small with only three to four titles every year, and every book shall match our profil as a publisher of children's book of quality.
If your book fulfills these requirements, please send us initially a synopsis and a sample chapter/sample illustrations along with a short bio of your person by email.
In case the above mentioned basic requirements are fulfilled, we will be happy to read your submission, though it might take some time. We will then let you know if we wish to see the full manuscript. Please note that we will not be able to provide any feedback, or return your samples, so please do not send originals.
